The extension

AliVAT runs entirely inside your browser.

It reads order data from AliExpress using the same internal API the AliExpress order pages use, with your own logged-in session. It only reads orders you can already see.
PDFs and ZIP files are generated locally (jsPDF, JSZip) and saved through the browser's download function.
Your invoice settings (billing address, VAT number, preferences) are stored in the browser's extension storage and never leave your device.
The extension has no analytics, no telemetry, no remote configuration and no server. Nothing is transmitted to the developer or to third parties.
"Support the developer" (optional, on by default): when you open your AliExpress cart or checkout, the extension requests the developer's AliExpress referral link in the background so AliExpress sets its own affiliate cookie. This sends no data about you to the developer; AliExpress handles it like any referral click. You can switch it off in the settings.

No analytics, no cookies.
The support form sends your name, email address, topic and message by email to the developer (via Emailit as email provider) and a copy to you. Nothing else is stored.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when the page loads.
